The bottom fishing on Wrecks can also be productive this time of year for Cobia and Black Sea bass. Cobia is one of my favorite eating fish , almost like the steak of the sea. Good afternoon from Drop Down Sport Fish Charters in Saint Augustine Florida. Offshore fishing charters have been really productive this last month whether you have been around 9 mile or all the way out to the Gulfstream. The last few deep-sea fishing charters we have caught a handful of mangrove snapper, a limit of Vermillion snapper, some amberjack, barracuda , some random miscellaneous fish and a ton of red snapper. I have been fishing deeper water on the deepsea fishing charters with a double rig and some cut sardines on bottom, seems to always gets a bite. The offshore fishing charters on the near shore wrecks have been decent too. Kingfish and Cobia in 65 ft have been caught with the occasional sailfish.
