Good evening from Drop Down Sport Fish Charters here in the beautiful city St. Augustine Florida. The weather is currently 74 degrees and clear skies. A great time of year in northeast Florida, not to hot but not to cold! And the fish like it too! If your coming to St. Augustine Florida in November the offshore fishing charters will be hot. Deepsea fishing around 120ft should be wide open with some good bottom fishing for snapper and grouper. The offshore trolling bite for Mahi wahoo tuna fish and sails can also be very capable to be caught. As for inshore fishing charters back country for nice redfish trout flounder sheep head and black drum the bite in November is one of my favorites. A variety of bites and fish with awesome weather is hard to beat. I still have some days open so give me a call at Drop Down Sport Fish Charters in St. Augustine Florida and let’s go fishing.

Good afternoon from Drop Down Sport Fish Charters here in the beautiful city of St. Augustine Florida. The weather is currently sunny but brisk with the high of 55° and a north east wind of 10 miles an hour. The offshore fishing charters in February off St. Augustine Florida on a long deep sea fishing trips high speed trolling for wahoo can be world class with some fish weighing in the triple digits. Where it can be boring, driving around for hours with out a bite and not a bunch of strikes for the charter to reel on but if you high speed w big lures it will most definitely increase your odds on getting the mega-hoo 100+ pounder. Slow trolling with ballyhoo is also productive and provides a lot more pelagic bites. Not always the big wahoo or sometimes what you want but it’s good for a variety of fish. Offshore fishing charters bottom fishing for meat fish like vermilion snapper triggerfish porgies and amberjack are all biting on a eight or 10 hour deep sea fishing Charter. Saint Augustine Florida is a great place to visit this time of year and do a offshore fishing charter. Offshore fishing trolling for sailfish wahoo mahi tuna fish and more is all targeted species. The water is finally actually changing and getting colder and bringing some different pelagic‘s around. Deep-sea fishing charters like bottom fishing for grouper snapper triggerfish Amberjack and Cobia are also very productive this time of year fishing big ledges and wrecks that hold bigger fish. The best way to target Cobia and Amber Jack is to have a live bait or jig and it’s not uncommon to have 2-3 come up to the boat when hooked up to a fish. Some of the best Offshore fishing charters I’ve ever had has been in the month of December over wrecks and big structure. Good afternoon from Drop Down Sport Fish Charters in Saint Augustine Florida. It is Wednesday, September 1, The weather is raining and storming with temperatures in the 80s today, so might as well do a offshore fishing report since I have been offshore fishing every day and slacking on the fish reports. Offshore fishing charters have been really productive this last month whether you have been around 9 mile or all the way out to the Gulfstream. The last few deep-sea fishing charters we have caught a handful of mangrove snapper, a limit of Vermillion snapper, some amberjack, barracuda , some random miscellaneous fish and a ton of red snapper. I have been fishing deeper water on the deepsea fishing charters with a double rig and some cut sardines on bottom, seems to always gets a bite. The offshore fishing charters on the near shore wrecks have been decent too. Kingfish and Cobia in 65 ft have been caught with the occasional sailfish. Trolling ballyhoo or catching live bait is the ticket to getting a few bites.
